Who Should Attend

Sandstone diagenesis and reservoir quality experts who wish to begin using Touchstone as well as exploration and production geologists, basin modelers, geophysicists, and managers who wish to have an improved understanding of Touchstone modeling concepts and first hand familiarity with Touchstone system capabilities.

This course is available exclusively for RQC members and academic staff from universities that have been awarded Touchstone grants. The course is taught periodically in Durango but also may be given on site.

Description

The course includes hands-on exercises designed to familiarize participants with the Touchstone facilities for reservoir quality analysis and predictive modeling. In addition, model concepts are discussed in detail as are modeling strategies for various exploration and production applications.

Duration

The course duration is two days. Participants may also wish to take part in a post-course workshop where they can begin using Touchstone on their own datasets with the guidance of the course instructors.
