RQC
Established in 2001, Geocosm's Consortium for Quantitative Prediction of Sandstone Reservoir Quality (RQC), is one of the longest lived and most successful joint industry projects in the upstream energy industry.
The purpose of the RQC is to develop methodologies that increase the accuracy of sandstone reservoir quality prediction and to provide supporting organizations with the tools, training, and support they need to use these methodologies effectively.
The RQC is unique in that it combines scientific research with Touchstone software development. Touchstone is the most powerful and broadly used system for reservoir quality prediction in industry and academia.
RQC members:
- Obtain Geocosm's Touchstone reservoir quality modeling software
- Direct research and development activities
- Have access to training courses
- May attend consortium meetings
There currently are ~20 active members, comprising both industry and government institutions.

T>Map / T>Earth
In 2010 Geocosm established the T>Map and T>Earth consortium. The purpose of this consortium is to enhance the simulation and analysis capabilities of Geocosm's T>Map and T>Earth systems.
